This is the “Scream” dance I was apart of from when I use to dance. Seems as if an old dancer of mine uploaded it on youtube. I’m so excited I found it. Watch it. I miss my dance life. It was so important to me and watching it made me emotional. I wish I never had to loose it.
“Every artist was first an amateur” is something that I constantly remind myself about. I’ve seen people too many times loose themselves in their failures. Even with a single negative remark by other people can become very discouraging. Anyone I think can appreciate constructive criticism but there is a fine line between criticism and insult.
I’m sure many of us wish they could skip ahead to see if even sitting in this classroom will be worth it, but instead of worrying why not enjoy the journey. We should be showing up to the events in our lives that’ll define us, rather than letting opinions from others do it for us.
You won’t succeed at everything on your first try, but I don’t believe that’s the point; the point is you keep trying. It’s one of the hardest things I think, believing in your dreams and in yourself when no one else is, but at that moment remember, many of your toughest critics would love to see you fail use that as your motivation not for your excuse to give up.
Because this is it, this is your life, your choices and your future and remember no one ever really gets it right the first time but they get better on their second.
